Marlborough Teacher Fired After Allegedly Taping Child's Mouth, Posting on Social Media

Police are investigating an incident where a teacher at a daycare allegedly put masking tape on a student's mouth.

A Marlborough teacher was fired after allegedly putting duct tape on a two-year-old’s mouth during nap time and posting the photo on Snapchat with a caption that said “sometimes tape works.”

Fox25 reported that the owner of Flying Swings Daycare confirmed that an employee there was fired back in January after learning of the incident.

A family member of the victim told Fox that it had a major impact, and they had been crying for days. Supervisors said that the teacher had been spoken to before about her behavior.
