Marlborough Twin Sisters Star Together On UVM Lacrosse Team: Report

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Twin sisters from Marlborough are making a name for themselves on the Division I lacrosse stage this season.

Lauren Lefebvre and Lindsay Lefebvre, both natives of Marlborough, have become a standout duo for the University of Vermont women’s lacrosse team, a story first reported by NBC5, the station’s Vermont affiliate. The twins, who are both seniors, are enjoying their final season playing together.

Lauren and Lindsay played soccer when they were growing up in Marlborough, and eventually found their passion for lacrosse, the news outlet reported.

Both Lauren and Lindsay have played a large role in their team’s success this season, with Lindsay scoring two goals to add to UVM's 10-goal lead in the team's "Senior Day" game against the University of Albany on Saturday.

The final score of that game was 14-4. Now, the women’s team is set to compete in its last regular-season game before the playoffs begin.

“A lot to celebrate today with our senior game, clinching, and beating Albany," the team’s head coach, Sarah Dalton Graddock, said, according to UVM Athletics. "I'm proud of the focus we had for this game and our execution. We will enjoy the victory and get ready for our last regular-season game next weekend."
