Marlborough Weather: Rainy Bookends for a Sunny Saturday

Possible showers early in the day kick off a weekend that makes way for a mostly sunny Saturday, but another chance of showers on Sunday.

Heavy rainfall led Friday’s forecast, leading to one to two inches in some areas throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s a snapshot for Marlborough, via National Weather Service:

• Friday: Sunny, with a high near 56. Northwest wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
• Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31.
• Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.
• Saturday Night: A slight chance of showers after 4a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
• Sunday:A chance of showers, mainly before 3p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50.
