Marlborough's Labor Day Parade: A Must See
It's a grand tradition you don't want to miss, and it's happening on Labor Day.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Marlborough’s annual Labor Day Parade is now celebrating 66 years, and will take place again on Monday, Sept. 4, starting at noon.
The parade begins at Pleasant and Lincoln Streets and proceeds west onto Lincoln Street, south onto Broad Street, east onto West main Street and continues onto Main Street, turns south on Maple Street and ends at the intersection of Route 85- Bolton Street), spanning 1.7 miles.
The parade includes more than 150 bands, floats and other entries.

This year’s Labor Day entertainment is comprised of a variety of local groups as well as entertainment from across the region. The parade kicks off with the Marlborough High School Marching Panther Band performing the National Anthem. The Escort Division and the Honored Guests Division will be followed by the Military Division highlighted by the Canton and Keene American Legion Bands.
More than 20 bands will be performing including the Aqua String Mummers, the Boxborough District Minutemen Company and The Reminisants.

Floats in the parade include those by Heritage FestivalKiddie Time Educational Child CareMusic Department, United Native America Cultural Center, Vicki Crowley - Just Cause Walk - Relay for Life , The Cottage, Children's Center, Hero's Cup Hockey and United Bretheren Lodge.
