Marlborough’s United Brethren Lodge of Freemasons elected its officers late last month, who will serve for the 2016-2017 calendar year. United Brethren, founded in 1859, has 240 members dedicated to fraternity, charity and “making good men better.” The Lodge runs Marlborough’s annual Main Street Car Show, which raised $32,000 for charities this year. UB also administers the Marlborough Teacher of the Year Program, and through its Angel Fund, assists needy Marlborough school children with individual donations via school administrators.
This year’s Lodge Master is Joseph F. Delano, front row 4th from right, registered principal of LPL Financial and Marlborough City Councilor for Ward 1. Delano is flanked by Lodge Wardens Dan C. Vogel (left) and Daren P. Nowlan, both of Marlborough.
