MHS Performs "Godspell" this Weekend
This Friday through Sunday, the Marlborough High School Drama Club will perform the musical "Godspell."

This Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20, the Marlborough High School Drama Club will perform the musical “Godspell.” The students have been practicing multiple times a week since the start of January to prepare for this anticipated spring performance.
Created in the early 1970s by Steven Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, the hit musical guides audiences through parables from the Gospel of Matthew and the life of Jesus -- placed in a modern setting. “We weigh all kinds of options from the amount of cast members needed to what vocal ranges we have available for the chorus,” said Chris Henry, co-producer and faculty advisor, in reference to selecting the musical.
“At first glance, ‘Godspell’ was an excellent fit for this year. As we’ve gotten into it, the musical has also helped us to develop a culture within the club of supporting one another, taking responsibility, and doing what’s ‘good,’ ” he continued.
