More Than 80 Marlborough Students Receive John and Abigail Adams Scholarships

84 seniors from MHS received scholarships.

On Friday, Oct. 10, MHS Interim Principal Wendy Jack announced that 84 Marlborough High School seniors have been named John and Abigail Adams scholars, as announced on the high school’s website.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts created this merit scholarship program to reward hard work and achievement by Massachusetts students, and to encourage students to go to college at one of the state’s top-notch, public, higher education institutions.

The scholarship entitles each recipient to four years of free tuition at any University of Massachusetts campus, or at any state or community college. The choice is based on outstanding MCAS results.
