Morning Home Invasion In Marlborough Leaves Woman Injured
A 26-year-old man and a juvenile were arrested after the home invasion, police said.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A 73-year-old woman was injured Thursday morning when two people broke into a home near the Charter Oak Golf Course, according to police.
The home invasion happened around 10 a.m. Thursday at a home along Goodale Street. A 26-year-old man and a juvenile wearing masks smashed through windows to get into the home. The injured woman, a 77-year-old man, and an 18-year-old were home at the time.
The two suspects didn't take anything, and fled the home toward Hudson. Police caught up to them in the parking lot of the McDondald's along Washington Street. In the car, police found a baseball bat, hockey stick, and a pry bar.

Police arrested Michael Dicelie, of Bolyston, and charged him with three counts of home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault on a person over age 60, four counts of vandalizing property, conspiracy, threatening to commit a crime, and a host of driving infractions.
The woman was injured by glass that fell when the home's windows were smashed, police said.
