A New Sandwich: Jersey Mike's Subs Opens in Marlborough
Jersey Mike's is known for its fresh-grilled subs. Or do you call it a grinder?

MARLBOROUGH, MA — The chain is known for its freshly sliced and freshly grilled sandwiches, and Jersey Mike's Subs will open in Marlborough on April 6.
Franchise owners Mohegan Holding Company of the Mohegan Tribe celebrate the opening with a fundraiser from Wednesday, April 6, through Sunday, April 10, to benefit Marlborough Community Cupboard.

Jersey Mike's Subs, at 42 Boston Post Road West, distributes 3,000 coupons throughout the community to offer a free regular sub with a minimum $2 donation to the Marlborough Community Cupboard.
“We are honored to partner with Jersey Mike’s to bring their first location to central Massachusetts,” said Kevin Brown “Red Eagle,” Chairman of the Mohegan Tribal Council in a statement. “Jersey Mike’s and the Mohegan Tribe share a spirit of giving back to the local community. We look forward to a long relationship with the Marlborough area and supporting the Marlborough Community Cupboard through our grand opening fundraiser.”

This location is the first of the Mohegan Tribe’s Jersey Mike’s restaurants in Massachusetts. Other locations include Meriden, Norwich and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, with plans to open ten additional locations in Connecticut, Rhode Island and the southern section of Worcester County in Massachusetts.
