'Ninja' Shoplifters From Milford Charged In Marlborough: Police
Two Milford residents are now facing drug and shoplifting charges — and are suspects in shoplifting incidents in other local cities.
MILFORD, MA — A man and a woman from Milford were arrested and charged for trying to steal blenders last week from the Target in Marlborough, according to police. They are also suspected of shoplifting in other local communities, Marlborough police said.
Heather Kalpajian, 43, and John Chase, 30, were arrested Friday morning near the Donald J. Lynch Boulevard Target store. Kalpajian tried to walk out of the story with three $120 Ninja brand blenders in her cart, Marlborough police said.
When she was arrested, police found a pipe with suspected cocaine residue, plus prescription drugs that did not belong to her, police said. She was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy, and three counts of possession of a Class B substance.
