'No Wrongdoing' in Marlborough Police Chief Harassment Case
The jury cleared Marlborough's police chief in civil case filed by one of his lieutenants.

Marlborough Police Chief Mark Leonard has been cleared by a jury in any wrongdoing in a case where one of his lieutenants accused him of retaliating against him, reported the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
Lt. Robert Jusseaume filed the civil complaint, alleging that the chief had retaliated against him for alerting the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the mayor that a police station camera was recording arrested people. Following, Jusseaume’s claims were that he was unfairly targeted with an internal infestation and faced “unduly harsh punishment.”
According to the Telegram, Mayor Arthur Vigeant called the lawsuit “frivolous,” with the city incurring unnecessary costs.
