Northborough Armed Home Invasion Suspects Nabbed In Marlborough

The two men were arrested one town over after a search. Police do not consider the act random.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Police arrested two men after an armed home invasion one town over in Northborough Friday morning.

Marlborough and State Police were searching for two male suspects near Hayes Memorial Drive after the home invasion was reported around 7:30 a.m. in Northborough at 45 Milk Porridge Circle.

The victim was able to describe two suspects who fled the scene in a green Honda Pilot, and also provided a registration number. A silver handgun was reportedly used in the robbery, according to the victim.

Sgt. Jeremy Trefry from the Northborough Police Department spotted the vehicle while responding to the call and attempted to stop it. The driver fled east on Route 20 with Sgt. Trefry in pursuit. The suspects bailed from the car behind a building on Hays Memorial Drive in Marlborough. Trefry along with other Northborough officers requested assistance from Marlborough and State Police.

One suspect was found and arrested around 7:50 a.m. on Hayes Memorial. Around 9:14 a.m. the other suspect was arrested in the woods next to Hayes Memorial, thanks in part to a K-9 unit. The second arrest is pictured above, courtesy of police.

By 9:14 a.m. both suspects had been captured. The vehicle was reported stolen to the Boston Police.

Anthony L. Davidson, 33, Plymouth Street, Holbrook, was arrested and charged with home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon, larceny from a building, larceny under $1,200, defacing property, assault in a dwelling-armed, carrying a firearm without a license, breaking and entering for felony and putting person in fear.

Jonathan James Kitchen, 33, Boylston Street, Boston, was arrested and charged with home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony and putting person in fear, larceny from a building, larceny under $1,200, defacing property, assault in a dwelling-armed, carrying a firearm without a license, unlicensed operation of a vehicle, failing to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in a violation special regulation zone, marked lanes violation, passing violation, OUI drugs, failing to stop or yield.

"This was a great team effort by all agencies involved," said Northborough police. "We are confident in saying that this was not a randomly selected home. Our investigation continues."
