NYC Woman Arrested At Solomon Pond Mall For Theft: Blotter

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough police over the weekend arrested a Queens, NY, woman after she was caught taking items from a department store at the Solomon Pond Mall, according to the blotter.

The woman, who lives in the Far Rockaway area, was arrested Friday afternoon at the Macy's store at the mall. The 31-year-old was charged with shoplifting and two counts of unlawful removal of a theft detection device, according to police.

Other arrests made in recent days in Marlborough:

On Monday, Marlborough police arrested a 31-year-old woman along State Street for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over age 60, according to the blotter.

On Thursday, police arrested a 30-year-old city man, a Boston Post Road resident, on several outstanding warrants, according to the blotter.
