Anyone who has planned a wedding knows that the perfect wedding day masterpiece is created from months of meticulous planning with a myriad of choices along the way. Every detail from the most minute to the most grand must be orchestrated and coordinated in perfect harmony. From disc jockeys to bands, make-up artists to hair stylists, florists to favors, photographers to videographers, bridal dresses to accessories, rings to reception halls, invitations to thank-you’s, every decision on the way to creating the fairytale wedding is important to the overall success of the big day. With so much to consider, wedding planning can be a daunting task to say the least. 

The Original Wedding Expo is coming to Marlborough with over a hundred bridal merchants to help make the planning process a little easier. There will be live music, dance instruction, and a plethora of information at the ready. Here, visitors are encouraged to sample cakes and appetizers and even compete in a dance challenge (complete with prizes)! There will be stage giveaway prizes on both days and a 4-day Aruba honeymoon grand prize awarded on Sunday.

Among the many vendors featured at The Original Wedding Expo is nationwide bridal retailer David’s Bridal. Boasting more than 50 years of experience in the bridal industry, David’s Bridal has more than 300 stores across the United States. According to Christy Rabil, the Public Relations Manager, “David’s Bridal understands that every bride’s wedding vision is unique, so our luxurious Spring 2011 collection is designed to effortlessly complement all personalities, body types and budgets.” Brides in attendance at the Expo will enjoy viewing dresses inspired by the latest runway and red carpet trends. The spotlight, though, will be on what Rabil refers to as, “the highly anticipated White by Vera Wang” which will be arriving in stores in February. With so many beautiful dresses in so many designs and styles there is sure to something for everyone.

Stop by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute booth and make a donation and you will receive pre-printed address labels to share with vendors.
