Police Pull Over Speeder in Marlborough, Find Guns, Knives, Drugs
Police found a gun, ammunition, knives, pepper spray and heroin in a search of the car.
A Weymouth man faces numerous charges after police found weapons, ammunition and drugs during a traffic stop in Marlborough on Monday evening.
Nicholas R. Martin, 32, of East Weymouth, was pulled over around 5:30 p.m. by Mass. State Police on I-495 south in Marlborough on Monday.
Police found in Martin’s car a 12-guage Mossberg shotgun, ammunition, several knives and a canister of pepper spray. Martin does not have a license to carry firearms, said police.

Two bags of what police believe to be heroin was also found in the car, along with drug paraphernalia. Police brought Martin to the Leominster barracks, where bail was set at $5,000, pending an arraignment at Marlborough District Court.
Martin was charged with possession of a class a drug (heroin), carry unloaded rifle/shotgun on public way, possessing firearm without permit, possessing of ammunition without FID card, carrying firearm with ammunition, carry dangerous weapon (Illegal knives), marked lanes violation, speeding, state highway violation.
