Preschool Extends Lottery Application Deadline
The ECC is extending your chance to get your kids enrolled for the next school year.
The Marlborough Early Childhood Center Preschool is extending its lottery application deadline for the 2015-16 school year to Jan. 14, 2015, it announced on its Facebook page.
The Marlborough ECC is an integrated preschool program serving both special needs and general education students. A child must be 2.9 years old to be eligible to attend the ECC. Classes are grouped according to students’ age/anticipated kindergarten start year.
Currently, the MECC is a half-day, tuition-based program. Morning sessions are 9-11:30 a.m., and afternoon sessions are 12:30-3 p.m. Tuition rates are currently under review, and updated rates will be posted by Jan. 15, 2015 pending School Committee action. Tuition assistance is available using income eligibility guidelines.

Space is limited, and parents interested in enrolling their general education students in the MECC program enter a lottery. Details of the lottery/enrollment process as well as the lottery application (plus translations) are available online.
Lottery applicants who submit their paperwork after the Jan. 14 deadline will be placed on a wait list.
