Roof Collapse on Maple Street

The Waltham Fire Department responded to a roof collapse after a resident walked in to the station to report it early Thursday morning.

Around 6:35 a.m., firefighters headed to 87 Maple St., where a roof on an attached garage in the rear had caved in. No one was inside the structure, but a car was in the garage.

The Building Department and the Wires Department was requested to the scene.
