Santa, Tree Lighting and More: Marlborough's 'Home for the Holidays' on the Common
The annual event brings the community together on the common.

Marlborough is getting ready for its annual community celebration for the holidays.
“Home for the Holidays” on Marlborough Common takes place on Friday, Dec. 4, from 6-8 p.m. at Union Common, intersection of Route 20 and Route 85.

Mayor Arthur Vigeant arrives with Santa Claus via fire engine to open the event, followed by the tree lighting accompanied by the Marlborough High School Choirs directed by Shannon P. McNulty.
Following the tree lighting, the Marlborough High School String and Jazz Ensembles performs inside the First Congregational Church starting at 6:45 p.m.

Activities on the Common will include Santa Claus, barn animals, music, free balloons, popcorn, and hot chocolate. Additionally, Marlborough Postmaster Nicholas Tselikis has Santa’s mailbox set up and announce information on this year’s holiday stamp collection.
