ScrubaDub and Community Servings Team Up to Feed the Critically ill and Get Dirty Cars off the Streets

For the second year in a row, Community Servings’ 22nd annual Pie in the Skycampaign is partnering with New England’s leading car wash company, ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers, to help provide home delivered meals to individuals and families battling life-threatening illness.

As part of their annual ScrubaDub Cares Initiative, The Paisner Family owned car wash corporation will be giving away $10 car wash vouchers to anyone who buys a pie, or makes a $5 donation at participating ScrubaDub locations across New England. Each pie costs $28, providing a week’s worth of meals to one of Community Servings’ 1,525 critically ill clients and their families.

Pies can be purchased from ScrubaDub’s Pie in the Sky web page: pieinthesky.org/ScrubaDub, until November 19th. Five dollar donations can be made online by November 30th, at ScrubaDub.com, or at any ScrubaDub location in MA, RI, NH, or ME. ScubaDub is once again hosting pie pick-up locations the day before Thanksgiving in Brookline, Natick, Shrewsbury, Woburn and Worcester.

With help from Community Servings, ScrubaDub is educating their staff and customers about the importance of providing meals and nutritional assistance for those who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves or their families. Community Servings’ delivers 25 different medically appropriate meals that are tailored to the dietary needs of those battling Cancer, HIV/AIDS, MS and other critical illnesses.
