"Shrek the Musical" being performed in Sterling, with Marlborough connections

It's time to let your Freak Flag Fly!

Several Marlborough residents are part of the cast and crew of the upcoming Sterling Community Theater production of "Shrek the Musical".   Happily, I have had the pleasure of being one, I am providing the photography and videography (sorry, cast and crew only!) of the show.  Additionally, a very good friend, Elizabeth Havenor, also a Marlborough resident, is the Director of the production.. and if you've had the pleasure of seeing one of Elizabeth's shows, you understand why I am so pleased to be involved.
The cast of the show is nearly fifty- with residents from across the area.  Don't miss the show.  Below is the press release information, as well as a sampling of the behind-the-scenes shots I've taken during production.  Enjoy, and come see the show!

As the story goes, in a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre – not a handsome prince – shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won’t shut up, a bad guy with a short temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.

Sterling Community Theatre’s mission is to provide an outreach of fellowship and cultural enrichment by facilitating a quality theatre arts oriented experience within the greater Sterling community, centered on family and community values.
