Snow Days: Will Marlborough Use Holidays or Saturdays to Make it Up?
How many snow days has Marlborough had to take so far? And how will they make it up?

There was no escaping it, and chances are, it isn’t over. The T has been affected. Flights. Driving. Parking. Tickets, hurting backs and missing work days. The blast of blizzards have done a number on New England.
Of course students (and teachers, too), cheer when there’s another “snow day.” But what you take away now, you make up later.
How are schools making up the significant amount of snow days have been taken this season?

Marlborough schools have used six snow days so far this season. As of now, the last school day is June 23.
Bath Wagner, liaison for Marlborough public schools, said, “At this point there has been no discussion about using any alternate ways to make up the days (spring break, holidays, etc.). We still have five more days until the end of June that we can use if needed.”

The school year, she said, has to be completed by June 30.
