Soap It Up For Charity

As plans are made for tomorrow and the juggling of soccer games, graduation and end of the year recitals is sorted out, consider working in a stop at the Navin Skating Rink for the third annual CARSTAR Soaps It Up! car wash. 

According to the CARSTAR website, more than 2,000 volunteers at more than 140 venues across the United Stated will be participating. The goal is to wash over 4,000 cars collectively which would break the Guinness World Record for “Most Cars Washed - Multiple Venues.”

Waldron’s Auto Body will be sponsoring the event here in Malrborough which they have donned “Wash for a Wish.” Proceeds from the car wash will be going to both the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Kids with Cystic Fibrosis and the Marlborough Youth Baseball Association. 

The event will take place on Saturday, June 11, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
