On April 5, 25 members of the AMSA Speech Team competed in the Massachusetts Speech & Debate League State Finals held at Acton-Boxborough High School. Special congratulations to Anirudh Kaushik for being the state champion in Group Discussion, Aman Sawhney for placing 6th in the state in Group Discussion and Talitha Nascimento for claiming Top Novice in Poetry Reading. Finally, congratulations to the entire team for coming in sixth place in the state among twenty seven schools and beating out fierce competitors Bancroft, Acton-Boxborough & Needham High Schools - an incredible accomplishment. This is AMSA Speech Team's best state result ever - congratulations to all for an outstanding year!
