Stay Off the Ice! Ft. Meadow Reservoir Not Safe

City officials announced recently that Ft. Meadow Reservoir ice is not safe.

On March 20, the spillway was closed to begin refilling the reservoir and all on-ice activities including fishing, snowmobiling and even walking on the snow-covered reservoir is considered no longer safe as “the water level will begin to rise as the snow melts.”
