Pranav Gopan and Amar Vadhera were awarded the Honorable Mention Award at the 65th annual Massachusetts State Science & Engineering Fair (MSSEF) held at MIT for their project Predicting the Next Amazon Bestseller. They are also the winners of the $100 Biogen Idec Award and the 2014 Harvard University Press Book Award.
Gopan and Vadhera spent several months conducting research, writing python code, developing hypotheses, collecting data and drawing conclusions for their project. They participated and won the Fifth Honorable mention award at the Worcester Regional Science and met the criteria to participate in the Massachusetts state fair.
