‘Suspicious’ Death Of Marlborough Woman Probed In Connecticut: Police

The victim has been identified as a 26-year-old, according to Connecticut state police.

Connecticut state police are investigating the untimely and “suspicious” death of a 26-year-old Massachusetts woman.

Troop L responded to the area of Claire Hill Road in Burlington, Conn. on Sunday around 11:16 p.m. to investigate, according to state police.

The deceased woman has been identified as Janina Brooke Murphy of Marlborough, Mass., state police said.

The Western District Major Crime Squad responded to the scene and has assumed the investigation.

The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Wednesday the woman’s cause and manner of death are “pending further investigation.”
