Sweats for Vets, a local non-profit is closing in on their annual goal of 1,000 Boston -team sweatshirts. The sweatshirts will be wrapped, sorted and distributed to homeless veterans throughout New England this Christmas season. Last year, the organization distributed 915 sweatshirts to 14 shelters located in all six New England states. Sweats for Vets' President Mark Vital, founder of the organization, hopes to reach their goal by Christmas Eve. "We need individual contributors to step up and make a donation," claims Vital.

Wrapped gifts can be dropped off at 12 Gordon Road in Marlborough. Donations can be made at the organization's website. Sweats for Vets
