UPDATE: Threat Puts Assabet Valley High On Lockdown

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Officials put Assabet Valley Regional High School on a soft lockdown after a handwritten threat found by a student on Monday morning.

The suspicious note was discovered inside a classroom, and the Marlborough Police Department, along with the Massachusetts State Police, searched areas of concern and found nothing suspicious.

The school will be resuming normal operations and there will be a police presence on campus for the remainder of the day. The Marlborough Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
