Tocci Building Companies Hits the Open Road in Sixth Annual "Buddy Run" for the SPARK Center
Tocci Building Companies supports the SPARK Center and Boston Medical Center in two-hour urban motorcycle ride

Tocci Building Companies (Tocci), a Boston-area construction manager and recognized leader in virtual design and construction solutions, rode in the Sixth Annual “Buddy Run” last month. Sponsored by Tocci and the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club, the “Buddy Run” featured over 100 motorcyclists who completed the two-hour urban “motorcycle run” to support the important work of the SPARK (Supporting Parents and Resilient Kids) Center.
The SPARK Center is a model childcare program offering comprehensive, integrated, and professional services to over 100 at risk children and families whose lives are affected by complicated medical, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges. Making long-term investments in Boston’s urban communities, the SPARK Center and its supporters, including Boston Medical Center, are dedicated to helping families make healthy choices, cope with emotional problems, and gain solid educational and parenting skills.
Excited for the opportunity to support Boston Medical Center and the SPARK Center, Tocci’s avid motorcyclists John Tocci, CEO, Lila Tocci, Director of Company Life + Charitable Giving, and Jason Goodwin, Project Manager, strapped on their helmets and hit the open road in their first “Buddy Run”. The police-escorted ride began and ended at the SPARK Center, located at 255 River Street in Mattapan, MA. Following the successful ride, a post-event festival was held offering concessions, music, and family friendly activities.

“The SPARK Center is doing vital work for at risk children and their families at a critical time,” said Lila Tocci, “We were proud to be able to do our part to help them achieve their mission.”
“We are so pleased that John, Lila, and the Tocci team were able to join us for our Sixth Annual “Buddy Run”,” commented Barbara Hughes, Program/Events Coordinator at the SPARK Center. “Their event sponsorship and attendance in the ride is yet another indication of their passion for helping at risk children and supporting the important work of the SPARK Center.”
