UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital announces that Stephen A. Klinge, MD is now on staff and is taking new patients.

Marlborough, MA – UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital is pleased to announce that Stephen A. Klinge, MD is now on staff at Marlborough Hospital and is taking new patients.

Dr. Klinge’s clinical experience includes caring for thousands of adults, teens, and children who have suffered sports or trauma-related injury. He has trained with world-renowned experts in both adult and pediatric minimally invasive arthroscopic shoulder instability and rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic treatment of knee ligament and cartilage injury, knee cap pain and injury surgery, as well as repair of fractures of the upper and lower extremities. For those suffering from arthritis that has advanced beyond physical therapy or medications, Dr. Klinge also has extensive experience with both partial and total knee, shoulder, and hip replacement surgery.

Dr. Klinge completed his orthopedic residency training at Brown University in Rhode Island, where he also received advanced orthopedic trauma fellowship training, and earned another fellowship in sports medicine at University of Connecticut, where he trained under one the nation’s most preeminent shoulder surgeons as well as with one of the world’s leading anterior knee pain experts. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, respectively.
