United Way of Tri-County Hosts 'Hope for the Holidays'

More than 800 families are in need of toy donations for the holidays.

The United Way of Tri-County (UWTC), for the fourth year, is offering “Hope for the Holidays,” which helps Marlborough families in need by providing children’s gifts, reported The Community Advocate.

More than 800 kids 18 and under are in need, and sponsors, money donations and volunteers are needed to help fulfill all of the gift requests. The families in need have completed a form listing three gifts for each child, and many of these requests are for educational toys.

Sponsors can provide the gifts, which must be delivered to the UWTC office by Friday, Dec. 12, and the gifts are distributed the following week.
