Vigeant Tours New Public Health Office In Marlborough

The state Department of Public Health moved 200 employees from Boston to Marlborough over the summer.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough Mayor Arthur Vigeant and Economic Developer Corporation Executive Director Meredith Harris on Wednesday toured the new state Department of Public Health offices in the city that opened over the summer.

The DPH moved approximately 200 employees to a new space at 67 Forest St. in July. The office houses DPH's Bureau of Health Care Safety and Quality, the Division of Health Care Facility Licensure and Certification, and the Office of Emergency Medical Services.

The main Department of Public Health office is located at 250 Washington St. in Boston.
