Ever since I started my hand made jewelry business WearLex in 2013, I’ve been searching long and hard for ways to give back to our community and to students in need of funds for college. As an Alumni of Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School I will be donating two scholarships to two female students who will be continuing their education specifically studying in the Gemology or Fashion field.
This year, I have decided to officially throw a WearLex launch party and fundraiser on Saturday, June 6, 2015 and am hoping to raise $5,000 or more. In order to ensure the success of this very important fundraiser, I am seeking contributions to help defray the costs associated with the event so that all funds raised from the event go directly towards supporting the Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School Scholarship Program for 2016. Your donation will help with the costs of: the venue, bartenders, food, flyers and advertisements, swag bags, entertainment (DJ), giveaways, raffle items and more. All proceeds that are made during the event from raffle items and donations before and during the event will be donated directly to the Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School Scholarship Program for 2016.
