What's Happening In Marlborough For Veterans Day 2022

See all the local events that will mark Veterans Day on Friday in Marlborough.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough will mark Veterans Day on Friday with a series of events and activities featuring local veterans and more.

Marlborough's 2022 Veterans Day parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with a formation at the American Legion post along Maple Street. Parade participants will be able to park at St. Mary’s Credit Union.

Veterans marching in the parade will travel north to Main Street and then east toward City Hall.

Along the way, the parade will stop at war memorials in the downtown area before ending at the "dough boy" World War I memorial in front of the Walker Building. The parade is being organized by the Marlborough Veterans Council.

Veterans Day began in the U.S. as a celebration of Armistice Day — when World War I ended on Nov. 11, 1918.
