Woman Arrested at Marlborough Massage Business for Offering 'Extra Services'

A woman at a local massage business was charged with illegal sexual activity.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—A woman working at a massage business in Marlborough has been charged with offering sexual conduct for a fee after she offered un undercover police officer a sex act in exchange for cash.

Beginning in June 2016, the Marlborough Police Department began an investigation involving possible illegal sexual activities at the Relaxation Massage business located at 167 East Main St., Marlborough, said Marlborough Police Chief Mark Leonard.

Several complaints and anonymous tips were received by the department and as a result of this investigation, detectives acquired more specific information regarding these activities occurring at this establishment.

On June 23, an undercover police officer entered the Relaxation Massage and was offered a sexual act in exchange for cash. As a result, detectives arrested 55-year-old Rui Jiang and charged her with offering sexual conduct for a fee.

In a release from Chief Leonard, he wrote, "Investigations involving illegal sexual activities occurring in the City of Marlborough are important to the members of this department and the residents of the City. As a result, the Marlborough Police Department will continue to conduct compliance checks throughout the city at similar business which offer these services. The partnership which develops between the departments and the residents of the community is essential in successfully combatting these types of illegal activities in our communities. The Marlborough Police Department welcomes any information residents can provide to assist in these efforts."
