Woman Threatened To Kill Marlborough Cop During Arrest: Police

The 22-year-old is now facing a raft of charges stemming from a car accident and a messy arrest, police say.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A 22-year-old Marlborough woman is facing a host of charges — including assaulting a police officer — stemming from a car accident at a local gas station earlier this week.

Just before 4:30 p.m. Monday, Rebecca Pruitt was involved in a two-car accident at the Shell gas station along Lakeside Avenue. Pruitt left the scene of the crash before police arrived, and pointed a gun at the other person involved, police said.

Marlborough police caught up to Pruitt about an hour later and tried to arrest her. She resisted, and while being booked she spit on police, and threatened to kill an officer and their family, police said.
