Woman Tries To Rob Marlborough Honey Dew Donuts

The woman was wearing a ski mask and tried to jump over the counter, according to police.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A woman wearing a ski mask tried to rob the Marlborough Honey Dew Donuts location on Monday. The woman fled the store after an altercation with the employees, according to police.

The woman walked into the 495 Boston Post Road store around 4 p.m. Monday wearing a mask and holding an empty bag. The woman demanded money, and then tried to get behind the counter to where the employees were working.

The woman didn't have a weapon, according to Marlborough police Sgt. Zac Attaway. She left without taking any money. Police did not have a description except that the woman was white. The attempted robbery is still under investigation.
