Young Cadets Learn the Inner Workings of the Marlborough PD

Cadets visited the Marlborough police station as part of a week-long cadet program.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—The kids of Marlborough got a chance to learn some of behind the scenes aspects of a working police department.

Marlboough Police Department's Det. Scott DeCiero has been assisting The Middlesex County Sheriff's Office sponsored "Youth Public Safety Academy," which runs July 11 through July 15.

As part of the program Marlborough youth residents, attending the week long academy, spent part of the day on July 13 at the Marlborough Police Department.

While at the PD, the students (AKA: Sheriff Koutoujian's Cadets) toured the department, talked with members of the department, and participating in hands-on aspects of the inner workings of the agency. Chief Mark Leonard also held a Q&A with the cadets.
