MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — Six people aboard a sinking pleasure boat off Martha's Vineyard were rescued by the Coast Guard over the weekend. The rescue happened Sunday off the south coast of the island.
The 32-foot boat "Fast Line" sustained a cracked hull and took on more water than those aboard could pump out, the Coast Guard said. A Coast Guard boat and helicopter were dispatched to the scene and all aboard were rescued. No one was hurt. The boat was towed to harbor.
