6-Foot Boa Constrictor Found Dead in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard Times Reports

A woman and child walking in Ocean Park early on Labor Day called police when they saw a snake more than six feet long, according to the Martha's Vineyard Times.

A dead snake more than six feet in length was found by a woman and child in Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs early Monday morning, reports the Martha's Vineyard Times.

Wildlife expert Gus Ben David identified the animal as a red-tailed boa constrictor and said it likely had been someone's pet, the Times reports.
