Alex's Place is pleased to announce this week's lineup of top flight entertainment.

On Thursday evening, fresh on the foot heels of their opening night with Jim Belushi, the IMPers will hold court for their weekly Comedy Improv Show at 8 pm. Teens and adults welcomed to this pg-13 rated show (it's improv after all). Come and see why the 2013 Chicago Improv Festival made them the Official Selection. Doors open at 7:30 pm and admission is $15 for adults, $11 for teens.

This Friday the fun continues with the popular Community Open Stage which featured a dozen performers last week and a great audience. Showtime is 9pm and admission is only $5. All adults and teens welcomed to perform or be a part of the audienct. Doors open at 8:30 pm

Saturday night is a very special evening with Jemima James and Friends. Another great concert in a fine listening room. Jemima will perform pieces from her excellent new CD as well as many of her hits. Showtime is 9 pm and admission is $10.

Tickets can be purchase online for IMPers at brownpapertickets.com or ticketsmv.com, or at the door.

Tickets for Jemima James can be purchased in person or by phone at the Y member desk (508 - 696 - 7171 ext 0) or online via http://www.alexsplace.net or at www.ticketsmv.com/alexs  or of course at the door.

Alex's Place is located at the YMCA of Martha's Vineyard, conveniently located across from the high school on Edgartown Vineyard Haven Road in Oak Bluffs. Once you enter the performance space at Alex's you will be transported to what has been called the Vineyard's premiere listening room - rivaling any top notch venue in any city.
