As School Year Draws Near, Faculty Changes Announced
Schools have filled a "significant number of open positions," said the superintendent.

Martha’s Vineyard Public Schools has released a list of faculty changes for the upcoming school year. Students will return to the classroom for the 2011-2012 year on Thursday, September 8.
“Administrators at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and the Edgartown School have had their hands full over the summer with a significant number of open positions,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jim Weiss said in a letter to faculty. “It looks like they have all been filled, and we are very pleased with the new staff who have been selected.”
The biggest of the changes—which affect nearly every Island school—has already been announced. Weiss announced administrative in late June. He also previously noted that at the West Tisbury School and Martha's Vineyard Regional High School would be extended.
