MV Center for Living Tapas & Cocktails Benefit

MV Center for Living hosts Tapas benefit.

Tapas and Cocktails Evening:  The
MV Center for Living is planning a major benefit on Tuesday, June 18th
at the Art Cliff Diner. There are two seatings at 5:00 and 7:30 pm.  The ticket is $50 per person. Reservations
are required and seating is limited. So, what do you get for your fifty
bucks??! The event will feature a Raw Bar (raw shellfish shucked and served) and
delicious tapas (snacks, canapés or finger food that originated in Spain)
created from locally-grown food by super chefs Gena Stanley and Teddy
Diggs—plus beer, wine and soft drinks. Gena, owner of the Art Cliff Diner on
Beach Road in Vineyard Haven, was formerly the pastry chef at Blair House
during the Clinton administration. Blair House is the official state guest
house for visiting dignitaries who visit the President of the United States.

This is the Center for Living’s most important fundraising event for the summer, folks, and your participation is vital to the success of our ongoing programs which
are: the Supportive Day Program (senior social daycare program); the medicaltaxi program which provides free transportation for off-Island medical appointments for seniors; publication of the 55 Plus MV Times supplement;  the monthly luncheon program with the MVRHS Culinary Arts Department; administration of FEMA funds (a supplement to the fuel assistance program); and the administration of the Emergency Food Pantry Program which distributes over 50,000 lbs of food yearly to an average of 175 Vineyard households.  Call MVC4L Director Leslie Clapp for
reservations at 508-939-9440.
