Rainy Weather Won’t Give Sharks a Break!

Sharks game called off due to rain, plus a preview of the June 19 game.

The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks as well as the Torrington Titans can’t seem to catch a break in the midst of the horrible weather that has been plaguing the entire Eastern seaboard. The Sharks were meant to meet against the Titans this evening, June 17th, 7pm at Fuessenich Park in Torrington Connecticut. The game will most likely be rescheduled in the form a double-header, whose date will be announced shortly. However, it will hopefully be a beautiful day on Saturday as the Sharks will tour the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame in Upstate New York, and then face the Oneonta Outlaws, a Major League funded New York Collegiate Baseball League team. Forecasts for Sunday, June 19th are expecting a beautiful day for the Sharks and all the islands Fathers as they return to Vineyard Baseball Park to take on the Seacoast Mavericks.

See you down at the ballpark!
