I was so happy when I woke up today because the sun was out and it wasn't raining! I said to myself - I have to get out of the house today and enjoy this. I also had a hankering to take some photographs!
I had a few errands to run, but other than that, I really had no idea where my day was leading me.
First I stopped by the Lagoon in VH and had a grand ol' photo shoot with a few geese. I will admit that I am not a huge fan of anything with wings (don't ask), and when the geese starting squawking and swimming towards me I kind of freaked out a bit. But I got away with 10 fingers and 10 toes - a few cute photographs to boot!

Right behind where I was photographing the geese were the steps up to the old Marine Hospital, which will soon be renovated to be the new Martha's Vineyard Museum. I LOVE this building, I want to get a bit closer to photograph it, but there are no trespassing signs up all over the place. As you can see, I didn't dare to get too close.
My last stop was Lambert's Cove Beach! I have never been there before, and today won't be my last time. It was a little slice of heaven! A lot of people I saw today had their dogs out with them. I love watching dogs on the beach. Heck, I just downright love dogs. But seeing dogs so happy at the beach brings a smile to my face. The last part was the two huge horses I saw on the beach! I think they were Clydesdale's, but I am not 100% sure. It was so awesome to see them trotting along.
