Cape Cod Cocaine Dealer Arrested: Police

Jordan O' Brien, of Dennis, was charged with trafficking cocaine; police said he's previously been convicted of trafficking heroin.

YARMOUTH, MA — A convicted Cape Cod heroin trafficker was arrested again Monday in Yarmouth and charged with trafficking cocaine. Jordan O'Brien, 26, of Dennis, is "well-known to Cape Cod law enforcement," Yarmouth police said.

On Monday at about 5 p.m., Yarmouth police said an officer saw O'Brien driving a rented truck in a dangerous manner on Route 6 east, speeding near 80 mph. Officers said they found cocaine in the truck. O'Brien had two knives on him — one in his waistband and another in a sheath around his neck, police said.

Police said O'Brien had more than $3,000 in cash in his possession and stored prescription pills in a Yarmouth motel room. O'Brien was charged with cocaine trafficking and drug possession. He was released on $5,000 bail pending an arraignment.
