Cape Cod Man With 150 Priors Arrested Again

YARMOUTH, MA — A Cape Cod man who has 150 criminal charges on his record was arrested again on drug charges in Yarmouth this week.
Leno Mendes, 47, of Dennis, was charged with oxycodone possession during a traffic stop on Berry Avenue at about 4 p.m. The driver, Kenneth Tavares, 51, of Yarmouth, was charged with a lane violation and driving with a revoked license.

Police said they found oxycodone pills in the car during a search.
Mendes’ criminal history includes charges for assaulting a police officer, kidnapping, resisting, arrest, and disorderly conduct.
