PLYMOUTH, MA — A Cape Cod man was killed in a crash on Route 3 in Plymouth Friday morning.
The victim was identified as Frank Valas, 73, of Bourne.
Police said his vehicle collided with another vehicle on the northbound side of the highway. A medical issue appeared to cause the collision.

Valas was driving a Ford Freestar when he struck a Chrystal PT Cruiser driven by a 46-year-old Taunton man. Valas' vehicle then swerved off the road and hit a tree. He was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Taunton driver was hospitalized, police said.
