Cape Cod SWAT Incident Resolved Peacefully: ICYMI
A SWAT incident involving an armed suspect on Cape Cod this week was resolved peacefully: in case you missed it.

MASHPEE, MA — A "despondent" man armed with a rifle barricaded himself inside a Cape Cod store Wednesday and engaged in an hours-long standoff with police—firing off a shot at one point—before surrendering.
The incident, which drew a SWAT team response, started at about noon and stretched into the night, finally ending at 7:30 p.m. when the suspect, a 41-year-old Falmouth man, gave himself up peacefully, police said. No one was hurt.
Police were called to the scene after the man started acting "despondent" inside an audio/visual store in the Mashpee Business Park, according to Mashpee police. Negotiators successful convinced him to give himself up.
