Three people were hospitalized after eating edibles containing THC, according to authorities.
EDGARTOWN, MA — Three people were taken to the hospital Friday night after passing out from edibles containing THC, authorities said. Police and emergency crews arrived at the Newes From America Pub just after 8 p.m. and found two women and a man on the floor, authorities told the Martha's Vineyard Times.
The people were in and out of consciousness. One of the women regained consciousness and told police, "15 milligrams … THC … edible … all three… first time," the newspaper reported.
Police received a 911 call for a 60-year-old woman who had fainted. Another woman passed out when an officer touched her shoulder to ask her to move so he could respond to the woman, according to the Times.
